Pittsburgh Dance Friends is a project
run locally by professional dancer, Sarah Slevinski. The aim of Dance Friends is to promote social dancing in the Greater Pittsburgh Metro Area. Through our newsletter, blog, Facebook and other social media, we help publicize a wide variety of dance events so that it’s easy to find out what’s happening, where and when. If you’re new to dancing, Sarah specializes in teaching personalized beginner lessons. She also teaches intermediate and advanced dancers, avid dancers who want to learn new styles, brides, grooms, their parents and relatives, and anyone who wants to have more fun dancing at weddings and events of all kinds
Our Facebook Events Feed is your gateway
to a world of dance events in Pittsburgh. Most people have no idea how many opportunities our city has for dancing until you become part of the local social dance community. We post all sorts of dance events on the Pittsburgh Dance Friends Facebook group (and invite you to post your favorites, too!); we seek especially to promote social partner dancing events, but not exclusively! Dance Friends Events

Intermediate, Advanced & Cross-over Lessons
Have you been dancing awhile and are looking for something more? Are you already an avid social dancer, but want to learn new dances so you can attend more socials? Sarah specializes in teaching personalized lessons that use your current skill-set to expedite learning new material
Weddings & Events
Sarah will prepare you to dance at your wedding or big event! She works with brides, grooms, and their families getting ready for weddings, including first dances, parent child dances, other presentational dances with relatives and friends, and social dance basics to enjoy during the whole reception. Likewise, learn how to dance if you’re a guest at weddings, reunions, anniversary parties, fundraisers, and more.
